Allsky Camera is operational

So, it brings me some satisfaction that I managed to build an allsky camera. Not sure it is any good yet, I'm a little worried that the lights in my complex will cause issues, mainly with the acrylic dome I have.

Lets have a look at one of the first pictures.

One of the first pics from my allsky camera

Yep, and its not great, though to be fair, it is very cold in Canberra at the moment (mid winter), and it has only been running for about 20 minutes, so the dew heater hasn't had time to warm everything up yet.

The "pre-production" build (its the final build, but still being built)

Here is the build mostly done. I printed the enclosure, its not super awesome, I had some issues with such a big print, printing in ASA (it shrinks, and so de-laminates sometimes in the upper layers, but not significantly enough to bin the print). I filled the gaps with silicon and I hope I won't regret that. I'm using a Ubiquiti Universal mount arm, to mount it on my garage.

Allsky Camera mounted in its final location.

You can freely browse the allsky website (it comes with the allsky software, which is free) here.

I'll see how it looks in the morning.
